Dr. Karoline S. Nowillo
Dr. Karoline S. Nowillo is a highly qualified Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with a passion for restoring form and function to those who have lost it due to birth defects, trauma, or cancer.
After graduating from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with undergraduate degrees in Biology and Spanish Literature, she completed a Medical Doctorate and a five-year General Surgery Residency at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center, followed by a Plastic Surgery Residency at the Long Plastic Surgical Group, and a competitive specialty Fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
Dr. Nowillo is particularly passionate about cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the breast, especially after partial or total breast removal using a variety of implant and autologous tissue techniques to help patients achieve their desired results.
Dr. Karoline Nowillo is a highly skilled plastic surgeon with a broad scope of specialties, including facial and body rejuvenation, post-bariatric body contouring, and surgical treatment of skin cancer. Her meticulous attention to detail is evident in of her work, whether caring for complex reconstructive surgeries or aesthetic procedures.
In addition to her work in the United States, Dr. Nowillo is dedicated to volunteering her skills to help underprivileged children and families affected by cleft lip, cleft palate, microtia, and burn deformities through a plastic surgery medical mission group led by Medical Mission Ecuador.
She is a member of several prestigious organizations, including the American College of Surgeons, American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons, and New York Regional Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Nowillo has been recognized as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor from 2017 through 2024.
